FIPLV2012

Innovation, Inspiration and Language Learning

FIPLV World Congress 8–9 June 2012
Helsinki, Finland

Dear Colleagues, kari

SUKOL has a great honour and pleasure of inviting you to take part in FIPLV Worl Congress 8–9 June, Helsinki, Finland. The Congress will focus on the theme of the Innovation, Inspiration and Language Learning including topics and aspects of promoting multilingualism in schools, learning languages in a virtual world and the role of the brain in language learning. The two-day congress program provides language teachers with the opportunity to hear about what the world can learn from the educational change in Finland, how to learn languages in a virtual world, how to use Second Life, tablets or smart boards in language learning and to meet colleagues from all over the world.

FIPLV Congresses have a reputation for delivering memorable social events, and The World Congress 2012 will be no different. We encourage you to meet as many colleagues as possible, and enjoy the hospitality of Helsinki. The City of Helsinki will hold an invited reception on Friday June 8, starting at 18.30. The social programme on Friday and Saturday (including a light snack) is included in the registration fee. For the participants of the Congress this will provide a beautiful atmosphere and the mood for work and friendship.

Helsinki is a multi-cultural and internationally connected metropolitan area with a shared vision to become the global leader in the international field of design. The World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 offers lots to see, do and experience.

I am looking forward to seeing you in Helsinki!

With warm regards,
Kari Jukarainen
